So moving on to project number 2…..
I’ve had the above stools for the past four years since I moved out of home. I borrowed them from my parents and forgot to give them back. When I moved home a few weeks ago I returned them (I do plan on taking them with me again when I leave) and thought it would be nice to fix them up a bit.
It seems I’m not the first to steal these stools from parents. Apparently my Mum and Aunt had them when they were little. Looks like my Mum borrowed them and forgot to give them back too.
To be honest this was a fairly easy project. The foam was still good so there was no need to strip the stools. I painted the legs white and bought new fabric. I put the new fabric on straight over the old and then use a staple gun to keep it in place. I screwed the legs back to the seat and all was done.

What lovely stools! I wonder who could have picked such great material?
